Sky Gallery — The Official Launch of Residence Huit
Hosted within the $24 million Melbourne Square penthouse, a raw concrete shell on the 67th floor, Sky Gallery transformed an unfinished architectural masterpiece into a living, breathing gallery. The event featured over $1.3 million worth of artwork alongside two multi-million-dollar heritage plates, immersing more than 240 guests from Melbourne’s design, property, and creative industries in an atmosphere of pure sophistication and sensory exploration.

Curated as a celebration of creativity in its most elevated form, Sky Gallery was an evening of sheer opulence and conceptual storytelling — a seamless fusion of contemporary art, live performance, fine dining, and architectural design. Every detail, from the light cascading across raw concrete to the rhythm of sound and shadow, was orchestrated to transform the penthouse into a living organism of art and experience.
The industrial minimalism of the unfinished space was softened and reimagined through light, form, and movement — a visual symphony where towering installations, sculptural silhouettes, and cinematic projections danced across the surfaces, animating the walls with a pulse of creativity. The atmosphere shifted as guests moved through zones — each corner revealing a new layer of texture, colour, and emotion — culminating in a panorama that blurred the line between exhibition and event.
In collaboration with Sash Melbourne, Nonchalant, and OSK Property, Votre Group oversaw every facet of the evening — from concept creation and partnership alignment to event design, curation, and media production. The result was an intricately choreographed experience that unfolded like a narrative — where sight, sound, and taste converged to form a single, immersive story.
Guests were invited to explore and engage with curated artworks, live installations, and interactive performance moments, while indulging in bespoke culinary creations by Chef Akela and signature cocktails by Bittersweet Beverage Events. The energy of the night was underscored by QOD Entertainment’s live acts and Jem Bray Art’s dynamic visual installations — both weaving movement and meaning into the architectural language of the space.
From the bespoke table styling by Kwerk Furniture to the sculptural pottery from The Foundry House, every detail embodied Votre Group’s philosophy of storytelling through design — transforming vision into atmosphere and structure into emotion.
Sky Gallery was more than a launch; it was a manifestation of collaboration and creative possibility, proving that when artistry, innovation, and intent align, the result transcends the ordinary. It was a night suspended between the city and the stars — a moment where architecture became theatre, and the skyline itself became part of the story.
